THE BEHAVIOUR TOWARDS WORKERS AND SERVANTS

THE PAYMET OF WORKERS SHOULD NOT BE DELAYED

  • Pay the worker for his work before his sweat dries (Ibn Majah)

SERVANTS SHOULD NOT BE SCOLDED

  • Anas Ibn Malik (RA) narrates: “I served the Apostle of God (PBUH) for ten years. He never said to me “Ugh.” He never said to me 'Ugh.' When I did something, he never asked me, 'Why did you do so?' When I failed to do a certain task, he never asked me why I did not do it." (Bukhari)

A SERVANT SHOULD BE FORGIVEN SEVENTY TIMES A DAY

  • Abdullah Ibn Umar (RA) narrates: “A man came and asked the Apostle of God (PBUH) "How many times shall I forgive my servant?" He remained silent and did not answer. The man repeated his question: “O Apostle of GOD!  "How many times shall I forgive my servant?" This time, he answered: "Forgive your servant seventy times a day." (Abu Dawud)

LET HIM EAT FROM WHAT YOU EAT

  • When your servant gives you the food which he has prepared with difficulty on fire, invite him and let him eat with you, too. If you do not do it, give some morsel from it to him at least. (Ibn Majah)

THE ENEMY OF THE PERSON WHO DECEIVES A WORKER IS THE PROPHET MUHAMMAD (PBUH)

  • In the hereafter, I will be the enemy of the person who employs and benefits from someone but does not give his fee. And I will ruin the one who is my enemy in the hereafter. (Bukhari)
